Editorial Design
Magazines & Brochures
Print • Layout • Infographics
Overview
I have designed magazines and brochures for clients such as Karavan, tidningen Balans, Officerstidningen, and Folkuniversitetet. Each project required a distinct design language, shaped by the publication’s content, identity, and audience.
Challenge
Every publication posed a unique challenge: For Balans, the task was to make complex topics such as auditing and accounting more accessible and visually engaging, often through data visualization and infographics. For Karavan, the demand was for high creative ambition designing an aesthetically refined layout that reflected the magazine’s cultural profile while ensuring readability.
Process
I approached each project by first analyzing the publication’s content and audience, then creating layouts that combined clarity, creativity, and quality. Typography, imagery, and composition were carefully chosen to reinforce the editorial tone, while maintaining a strong sense of visual identity.
Outcome
The final designs resulted in publications with a distinct and recognizable character, tailored to their audiences and communication goals. Whether simplifying complex information or expressing cultural themes, the layouts combined functionality with creative expression and giving each magazine its own voice and visual personality.
